Being involved from the get-go in this project has given me the gratification of not only seeing lines on a page emerge into a real, physical, emotive-driven space; but it has also allowed me to foster greater connections through the process with the client and his team, and conquer challenges alongside our contractors.
The space has been designed to embody the client's character; thoughtful & intelligent but also casual & welcoming - with a strong dose of quirk.

This home for both clients & staff carefully balances residential cues with workspace practicalities, leaning into the character of the building wherever possible.
The handles cut from cold-rolled blackened steel form a firm handshake at arrival, inviting both guests & staff within an office reminiscent of a subdued & sultry lounge more so than a financial advisory firm.
As you walk up the spiral staircase & into the mezzanine meeting lounge, the mood develops.

Carmine Red wraps the walls, eliciting a serious but informal gesture to the space where serious discussions are had.
My role in this project as lead designer was to ensure its entirety was well executed, from concept to final Compliance Contract and photography styling.
Managing clients, contractors, budget, timelines, procurement, drawings, council consent documentation, communication, and delivery were a few of the elements I juggled in this project.
Effort has been made to retain the building's original character, wherever possible.
